Tips for saving money
BROKEN TEETH ON BLADES
Your don't need to dispose of blades which have broken teeth on the ends, we can grind them down and sharpen them, it would mean a narrower clip but save you money.
The tension on all clippers has to be correct to enable the blades to cut properly. If you have a problem clipping, fiddling with the tension will not solve this!
Please contact us for guidance.
Please do not use Aerosol oil on Lister clippers, drip oil is required.
WD 40 should not be used on any make/model of clipper.
Tensioning
If your clipper is a Heiniger style clipper with Two arches at the bottom of the comb (large part) , please release the tension before removing the blades. The tension on Heiniger clippers is not the same as Wolseley, Liveryman OR Lister clippers.
Give us a call to discuss how to tension correctly.
OVERLOAD BUTTONS
The overload on most models is located at the back of the clipper near the cable, if this is out, you may have been using the incorrect or not enough oil, over tensioning or the filters are blocked.
To push the overload in, please use the nib of a pen or something of that nature, your finger is not enough.

Tips for saving money
BROKEN TEETH ON BLADES
Your don't need to dispose of blades which have broken teeth on the ends, we can grind them down and sharpen them, it would mean a narrower clip but save you money.
The tension on all clippers has to be correct to enable the blades to cut properly. If you have a problem clipping, fiddling with the tension will not solve this!
Please contact us for guidance.
Please do not use Aerosol oil on Lister clippers, drip oil is required.
WD 40 should not be used on any make/model of clipper.
Tensioning
If your clipper is a Heiniger style clipper with Two arches at the bottom of the comb (large part) , please release the tension before removing the blades. The tension on Heiniger clippers is not the same as Wolseley, Liveryman OR Lister clippers.
Give us a call to discuss how to tension correctly.
OVERLOAD BUTTONS
The overload on most models is located at the back of the clipper near the cable, if this is out, you may have been using the incorrect or not enough oil, over tensioning or the filters are blocked.
To push the overload in, please use the nib of a pen or something of that nature, your finger is not enough.
